What was that noise? I listened a little longer. It was a chirping sound-birds. Slowly I opened my eyes, it was a very bright morning. You could see the bright light even through the dense forest. Hmm...

I sat up & looked around. A beautiful spring day, and I could tell that something important was going to happen to me today...

Getting up slowly I wondered which way to go, when I realized I had no idea where I was...for that matter I had no idea WHO I was. Well shit! As I started to walk I felt something warm & soft rubbing against my legs. Looking down there was a Black kitten, with bright green eyes looking up at me. 'Mew.'

I couldn't help it, it was so cute! Picking it up & turning it over, I discovered that it was a She. Well, I couldn't just leave her out here all alone. But I'll have to come up with a name...something to honor the gods, I think..I know! "Ambrosia, that's what I'll call you. Okay little kitten?" 'Mew.' I smiled.

Holding this precious little thing in my arms, I started walking, to where I did not know. And as I walked I wondered about my past. About where I was going...

"Ambrosia, I must confess to you, I have no known home. I don't even know who I am, or if I ever did. And I don't know where I am going. Don't worry though, I wont leave you all alone."

Ambrosia just looked up at me with piercing green eyes. Scratching behind her ears I walked on. By now it was starting to get dark, and with how dense this forest was it made it near impossible to see your way.

"Ehh, Suppose we'll need to stop for the night. I can't say how dangerous it is at night. Can't even remember being here last night!"

Well, I thought, may as well just lay here. I don't even know how to start a fire or anything. I'll have to find food in the morning. Looking around I spotted a big tree with a hallow inside of it. Carefully checking for other animals inside I found nothing. So I crawled inside & curled up, Ambrosia curled up next to me, making it a little warmer.

I wonder who I am, where I came from. This is so confusing, maybe I'll remember more when I wake up. Soon all thoughts of Who I could have been & where from faded out as I drifted off...
